THE 2 minute conversation that robbed another kid's chance

Mr Z said, " Ms A, how many kids are allowed for the MNO camp?"
Ms A replied, " Oh we can only take in a maximum of -- kids."
Mr Z then said, " OH. Cause the datuk's son wants to go for the camp. Hmmm. Just reserve one space for his son."
Ms A then hesitantly replies," The closing date for the registration was last friday."
Mr Z goes on saying, " Nevermind, make sure there is one space for him. By the way how much is it?"
Ms A like the ever prepared employee, immediately responds," $40."
Mr Z keeps quiet for a split second then hastily replies," I think i'll pay for him."

See the kind of advantages you get if you are the datuks son? And i happen to know that there is a overwhelming response for the camp and that it is meant to be a first come first serve basis selection. But i guess that does not apply for the datuk's son, who by the way, is rather "prompt" in his registration.

One at a time please

my blog has been so stagnant that even i'm tired of it being stagnant.
so cheers to the first post after the third week into PA.
goodness.
everything has been a whirlwind.
and as much as i know people are going to hate me for saying this.
i want this three months to fly, faster than the wind.
i want them to be over pronto.
having to wake up the same time as a primary school kid is TORTUROUS
imagine doing it everyday.
no more late nights.
or if i have late nights,
i just keep falling asleep infront of the Windows 97 monitor.
freezing in the 15 degree office.
wearing two jackets to work half the time.
man.
what a unique experience.

A slice of banana walnut bread
She didn't want to end exams.
Maybe she did moan and groan about it.
But she knew ultimately that this time, she didn't want it to end.
And she knew why.
Cause after exams, it was not going to be a bed of roses.
Or it might have looked like it, but always remember,
roses have thorns too.
She could get cut, a lot.
She knew pandora was going to open her box once exams ended.
And thats why she wanted exams to last forever
To be encapsulated and trapped by exams, was by far better than being consumed by what was yet to come.
But alas, time and tide waits for no man/woman.
Exams ended.
P.S: She thinks this is the first time ever she has ever blogged at 0733am. She can't remember the last time she had woken up so early.
