THE outing. (: This post will be a pictoral guide of the consmari&nyk outing.

Just outside hall 3, and late as usual, because of yours truly, to meet mr nyk!

Seriously, NTU is the most inconvenient place to get to anywhere. You take just 30 mins to get out of school and like another 10 million years to get anyway else in Singapore.

And i know our transport system is supposed to be damn efficient but total waiting time for that night was equvalent to maybe just a mere half of the journey time, which by the way was not short. Thank goodness we have usual inventions, i.e th camera to preoccupy us.

This is what you end up doing when you wait for too long in an enclosed area, such as the mrt station, you go mad and start making nonsensical faces.

And when the journey takes hell of a long time, or to us anyway, and we have a camera on hand, VIOLA, the end result! Seriously we took damn long to get to our final destination, i have no idea why.

And the glass in NEL makes people warped. Erm i mean look warped.

Finally we arrived at Marche. And got all our food surprisingly quick!
That was OUR beer. Ginger ale and root beer. Bundaberg. Good stuff.

That was mrnyk's beer.

Which he accompanied with a lot of fish that night. He just basically ate fish and drank beer.

And to spice up the night, for dessert, we had mushroom soup, which by the way we toasted to.
Hey! We're original people with original ideas. (:

And as we were satisfied with the dinner we started to cam whore, in the middle of Vivo. Wow.

I wanted to take with Armani exchange as the background but i have no idea why we didn't in the end. They had pretty clothes. This season is like hot pink and black

And cons is so darn happy with her NUM purchase she clutched the paper bag so tight.

Can you imagine, we three acting like a bunch of e-diots in Vivo. Thank goodness it was after 10 and all the shops were closed.

This was the finale shot before we decided it was time to go back.

Afterwhich we proceeded to the washroom. And as we took so damn long, when we came out nr nyk gave us a real good scare. And we made everyone think that we psycho.

It was definitely a nice night! (: It was nice catching up with you, mr nyk!

Basically, Posh is like alcohol, drugs, ice cream and the music of the Spice Girls: Best in moderation, dangerous in excess.

I have no idea why but this statement just caught my attention. I think its so true.

02:37hrs 14th Oct.

this is when it really ends. the finale. its over.

the cover and the back page of my last publications.

and i miss it already.
The sleep-ness nights, the datelines, the photo taking, the creative juice sapping, the writing, the editing, the learning, everything. It may have been very trying and tiring, but never once have i not enjoyed what i've done. The satisfaction of knowing that you've done your best, and it reflects in your work is a feeling that nothing can replace.

On a lighter note, i think i think crazy thoughts sometimes. The things that i think of amazes me. Like how when nakaleong told me i should try bungee jumping now, i thought of doing it from the roof of hall 3. I mean its 8 levels high, may not be your ideal height, but still. Haha. I think i am mad sometimes. Just sometimes. Not all the time. *grins.

On a more serious note, i think i understand why Davy Jones carved out his heart and locked it into a chest. Makes sense not to have any feelings. I mean when there will be someone who'll stomps all over it and make you feel like you wished you could just tear out your heart. When you think so much that it aches. And then you just feel like crap, you just don't want to do anything. And yet, that is not possible. Thus, you plaster a smile on your face, speak in with a perky tone, laugh more than usual, become exceptionally high, basically do everything to show others that nothing is wrong, that it was nothing much. Yet, no matter how hard you try, your feelings betray you to those you're close to. They know that you're going through pain, and yet you just want to deny it. You don't want to think about it, but it comes like a poltergeist, haunting you, playing with your mind.

Basically, my personal thought is, we should all be given keys to our hearts. So we can just lock it up when we want/need to.

It was only yesterday that i finally understand Murphy's law and realized more than ever the importance of contingencies. Its amazing how many things can go wrong. From something that you've planned for to something that is totally beyond your control. If we are to plan for all contingencies we might as well do a contingency for the proposal. Anyway. We are sports club. And nothing, no matter how bad, we will pull through in the end, doing what ever we can in our power to make sure that no one even knows that anything went wrong in the first place.

So with that then, i think, Sports club alumni gathering went wonderful. The emcee was great. The people had fun. Got to see so many familiar faces, some new faces. It was so nice to see altogether in one place. People who have made uni live so interesting. (: Talking nonsense with them. And seeing them enjoy themselves. Really satisfying when you know what happened and yet did not let it affect you or anyone and pull the whole thing off.

Then went clubbing with 17th commm!!! I loveee you guys. (: Jes, Winston, Wilopo, chair, pong, skk, tim. Everyone must go again someday soon.

If you're racist or think you might be slanted towards racism please do not read this. I do not wish to violate your racist rights, if there were such a thing, and hence this forewarning.

Today more than ever I've taken note of the inherent racial divide, if i may call it that, in school. And i believe this is the case for a lot of schools here. The racial cliques are so apparent. Why is it so? Thats something i will never get. What made us like that? And to think we believe we are a multi racial country. Hah. Even the foreigners do not believe in it. Maybe racial tolerance is practised but racial harmony? One tutorial mate from France was sharing how she heard so much about Singapore being a racial harmonious country, however when she came here she was shocked to see "racial towns" like little India, Chinese town etc. Well, maybe you could argue and say, those towns are to allow people to experience the different cultures. I beg to differ though. Cause if you realise in most countries, where ever the Chinese are, there will always or most of the time anyway, be a china town. Now, why is that so? I just think that a lot of Chinese are just too afraid to mix with people of other races. Do they deem their race superior? And if you do know of Chinese dialects, everyone else in for example Cantonese is deemed a ghost. I'm not trying to shoot down the Chinese race, i mean i am Chinese too, but its because of the fact that i am Chinese and do hang out with Chinese people and do understand the language that i can use this as an example. I am so fed up of all this inherent racism all around. Its childish, saddening and immature.

If you are racist and have proceeded to read this whole post and feel very strongly against what i have said, i already stated clear what the topic was on and told you not to read it. Hopefully you are not too offended by the. And even if you are, this is just my view point.

P.S: Suue, Idza and Fahimah thanks for the wonderful dinner. Full of laughter, crazy jokes, whacked up lingo, out of the world impersonations and the superman joke. Hahaha. (:
